I have never been any good at scale. If its a 1:1 scale i can just about cope. But a 3:1 scale is just screwing with my mind! Its measurements that fall underneath 1m. Then I have to work our what 1 mm equals to get an accurate scale on paper. After a stressed post on facebook some friends came to the rescuse and helped me figure it out. I am a visual person, in order to figure out the spacing for my environment I am measuring walls and corridors of my house to get a visual feel of how the equipment would fit and if it was a real physical environment people would need enough space to work safely with the equipment. Also I need to make sure that the space I make isn’t going to look empty after I model everything in unity.
